**Captive Bred Hermann's Tortoise Hatchlings – Ready for Loving Homes**
Healthy captive-bred Hermann's tortoise hatchlings, bred in our family garden in the New Forest.
Our tortoises are raised with plenty of natural sunlight (weather permitting), a varied weed-based diet and excellent husbandry to give them the best possible start in life. They are active, feeding well and growing steadily.
The eggs were carefully incubated at approximately 31°C, a temperature that is generally expected to produce predominantly female hatchlings. However, as with all temperature-dependent sex determination in tortoises, the sex cannot be guaranteed until they are older.
Each tortoise will come with:
* A care sheet covering feeding, housing and general husbandry.
* A record of its hatch date.
* Ongoing advice and support if you are new to keeping tortoises.
These are fascinating, long-lived pets and should only be purchased by people who have researched their care requirements and are able to provide a suitable permanent home.
