Description

I'm unfortunately having to re-home Tyson due to several reasons including some personal ones. But the main one is I just don't have the time to commit to his needs. I work 7-8 and sometimes even later I don't have set hours that I can work around. And don't have enough support from family either. But I want Tyson to have the life he deserves. I acquired Tyson several months ago he is my first dog.( And owning a dog is an eye opener ) The first owner was nice but I got the feeling didn't treat Tyson the best he was on cheap food and was borderline underweight he also wasn't registered to a vet. Since my ownership I've registered Tyson to my local vets he's got all his up-to-date jabs and vaccines. Tyson has also been castrated. I've put him on a decent quality dry food and he seems to have filled out quite nicely. I also started taken Tyson to a high end dog trainer in Wales who has very good experience and I would recommend continuing with. ( Can provide details) Tyson has some training he is toilet trained, he knows the basics ( sit & down) and I've taught him to go between the legs. He is now crate trained which he wasn't before and I've given him some boundaries. Which again he didn't have before. Tyson has a good temper he hasn't barked at other dogs on walks and has been really good around new people just have to introduce them slowly and let him sniff you and he's all happy then. This would most likely link into his breed , being bred as a guard dog he is very alert to things. (This breed is very rare )

Pros

Calm, loyal, and even-tempered — one of the more composed large working breeds from the Far East
Short, low-maintenance coat requires minimal grooming for a dog of this size
Highly adaptable to new environments and situations when well socialised
Devoted family guardian that bonds deeply with its household

Cons

Very rare in the UK — finding a responsible breeder is challenging and may require importing from China or Europe
Large size requires significant living space, substantial food budget, and a securely fenced property
Guardian instinct requires thorough, early socialisation to prevent over-protectiveness toward strangers
Limited UK health data available due to the breed’s rarity in Britain
