Description
Bonnie (was Laila) travelled to the UK in 2023, where she was lucky enough to be adopted by a lovely family. Originally Bonnie was given up by her hunter in Spain, and was quickly adopted by a family there, however she was handed back to the shelter and was flagged to the team at SeBPRA where we were pleased to help her find a loving home.
Sadly due to a change in family circumstances, her adopters have made the extremely difficult decision that Bonnie would do better in a new home who have the time and commitment to prioritise Bonnie’s needs.
Bonnie is a beautiful, affectionate, and intelligent dog with a fun and playful side. She is also a sensitive soul, shaped by her early experiences.
She has made huge progress since arriving in the UK, where her family have worked hard on her training. Her lead walking and recall have come on wonderfully, and Bonnie has even become a fan of canicross, running with her family.
There have been challenges along the way for Bonnie but she has come on leaps and bounds and would undoubtedly do well in a more suitable environment. Currently Bonnie lives in London with other dogs and a young child, however she would benefit greatly from a much quieter home environment (ideally somewhere outside of London), child-free and either as an only dog or with a calmer resident dog.
She is looking for a patient, commited, loving home who are able to prioritise her needs. Bonnie is a truly wonderful girl who will thrive in the right home with the right support.
