Twix – Almost 2 Years Old – Looking for a Loving Forever Home
Twix is a lovely female cat who is almost 2 years old and is now looking for her forever home.
She was originally rescued while pregnant and went on to give birth to 7 kittens. She was an amazing mum and lovingly raised them until they were 6 months old (sadly one kitten passed away). Now that her kittens have grown up, Twix deserves a home where she can finally be the one getting all the love and attention.
Twix can be a little timid at first and likes having her own space, but once she feels comfortable she is very affectionate and enjoys attention. She would do best in a calm home with people who will give her time to settle.
She loves playing with toys and gets very invested in chasing them around the room. One of her favourite games is a string toy with a little mouse tied to it – she pounces on it and throws it around with lots of excitement. Sometimes she even hides her toys around the house for you to try and find later.
Twix also loves her scratching house. She often curls up on the top for a nap and it always makes me laugh because her legs usually stick out over the edge while she sleeps.
She enjoys sitting by the door watching the world go by, especially the children playing outside. The neighbour’s cat sometimes sits on the step, and Twix keeps a close eye on everything like she’s doing her own little security check of the area.
She’s also a very good little helper in the kitchen. Whenever I’m cooking she likes to supervise and make sure everything is being done properly!
