Pros
Highly affectionate and gentle with children, exhibiting strong family bonds
Adaptable to various living environments including apartments given sufficient exercise
Intelligent and quick to learn, responding well to positive training methods
Energetic and playful, offering excellent companionship for active owners
Cons
Requires substantial daily grooming due to their long, silky coat prone to matting
Prone to hereditary eye and ear health issues requiring regular veterinary care
Sensitive temperament can lead to separation anxiety if left alone for extended periods
Possess a moderate to high prey drive; caution needed around small pets
