Description
Mr and Mrs Sparkles (Feral and Wood pigeon) are two pigeons I have rehabilitated and deemed unfit for release.
They are both OK with human presence, but Mrs will need some work. She is a wood pigeon and when she was given to me, she was emaciated and missing an eye. I deem her unfit for release due to her missing an eye and would not spot a predator should she be approached.
Mr Sparkles is a feral pigeon, who again, was found emaciated. He was very hard to get to self feed, and was very reliant on me for much longer than any other pigeon I have hand reared. For this reason, I think he has suffered neurological damage before I found him. I sometimes spot him struggling to eat larger seeds, and sometimes smaller seeds.
They both need a loving home. Either in the house or in an aviary.
