We have two male gerbils less than 18months old.
Looking to rehome as we have another pet in house suffering medically meaning we no longer have time and resource to give the gerbils as much attention as they need
Will come with full humane tank set-up. 100cm x 50 cm tank (this is min welfare requirement) and tailor made wooden topper with cage attachment to give them extra room and somewhere safe to put food and water without them covering in bedding etc. Cost of tank set up was £400+ originally (brand new glass tank, and custom made lid with cage from Henry’s Toppers), also box of various accessories, hides, mazes etc included, plus happy to give away any leftover hay, bedding, food.
Price is reflective of the set up, and will mean your ready to go with a fully humane set up.
Will fully clean tank set up and empty bedding so able to be moved, and put gerbils in travel carrier for you to keep- good for when cleaning out tank. Also have a fold out fabric play pen we use when cleaning out- happy to also provide.
Gerbils are lovely, love eating out our hands, would clearly be even more confident if we could spend more time with them. Have come a long way and are comfortable with my daughter picking up and holding them.
Based just outside Birmingham so nice and central. If people are only interested in gerbils, not tank, can also accommodate this.
