There is surely a home out there for my perfect little Spoon 🥹👀 Meet Luna aka Looney, Boons or Spoon My little Luna is a 12 month old lurcher (suspected herder x sighthound) who ended up with me on foster through some very sad unfortunate circumstances & none through any fault of her own. Luna found the world rather scary when she first arrived, but with the help of my rather confident & bolshy shepherd, she has been shown that the world isn’t as scary as she thought. She still has her moments where the world can be overwhelming, especially when people force their affection on her or are too pushy with her, which can cause her to react but when she’s allowed to navigate the world at her pace, there’s no issues & she will voluntarily approach people for attention. She has been tested with children ( 2 & 7) she didn’t find them as overwhelming as I thought she would, but she would definitely prefer a home with older children/teenagers or an adult only home. Luna would suit either an older active family, a retired couple or someone who works from home, as she loves nothing more than being centre of attention & has lots of cuddles to give!! Luna is more than happy to go on long countryside hikes & is the perfect dog when offlead, with impeccable recall and very rarely leaves your side but she equally is happy to spend the day lounging on the sofa, getting all the attention she can get!! She absolutely loves a ball or a tug toy, and is actually quite drivey for a lurcher, which I have used in building her confidence around people & potentially overwhelming environments for her. She will confidently play and interact with strangers now, rather than shying away. She also has high food drive which has also helped with her training and I think with the right continued training, she could make a nice sports dog but also an all round perfect pet. Luna loves other dogs & I think it would be beneficial for her continued confidence building, to live with another confident stable dog to continue bringing her out of her shell. Her and Cassie, my shepherd, are thick as thieves together & spend most of their time playing silly buggers. *There is full back up in place for Luna, should anything change, she is to be returned to myself, no ifs or buts*
