Description
We are reluctantly having to find a new home for our gorgeous pup. A decision we have not made easily but his needs are not being met with us. We have a young family and our daughters are struggling with his size and energy. We also have another dog who does not want to play with pup, which is really sad! Busy lives mean that he needs more exercise than we can provide and needs further mental stimulation and training.
Pup is so loving, toilet trained, has great recall, travels well in a car and does the basic sit/paw etc. He is getting better at walking on a lead but more training is required here. We back onto fields so he spends a lot of time off the lead.
He also has typical Velcro vizsla tendencies and can be nervous around other dogs on walks but actually loves saying hello to them once over these nerves. Another habit that needs to be worked on is ‘jumping up.’ This is mainly at kitchen counters but can be at people when out and about.
We would like him to go to a loving home where he will be the centre of attention. Ideally we would like them to have experience with viszla or pointer breeds. Any possible new owners will be thoroughly vetted. If local, we would like to visit your home to see garden space etc. We are also happy to FaceTime.
