This is our beautiful Honey, a Whippet mix, and writing this honestly breaks my heart. She is such a loving, affectionate girl and this is absolutely not a decision we are making lightly.
Honey is absolutely lovely with children and is especially loving with my 2-year-old daughter, who she has grown up around and is always by her side. They have such a special bond, which makes this even harder for us. ️
She is house trained and knows her commands including sit, lay down and paw. She loves her toys, loves attention and is a very affectionate girl. She is good on the lead and has good recall, although she can be a little barky around other dogs because she gets very excited and wants to play.
Honey is a very energetic girl and really needs a home with a big garden, someone who can give her daily walks and, most importantly, plenty of time, love and attention. Once she has had a good long walk, she is more than happy to curl up beside you and relax.
