The 2026 season has started with nest boxes added and more to be added on a regular basis With only four breeding cages going at a time all babies get handled and daily attention and close monitoring and leave here being semi tame and full of confidence!
All babies are close rung with my personal ring number, treated for mites and worms before they leave, come with a take home pack which includes a hatch certificate, adoption contract, printed hand made care guide, sample of food and a sprig of millet and a take home box. Also fed on a top diet with fresh vegetables daily and vitamins and minerals and already started on liquid iodine.
Babies are handled daily, from the day they are born by myself and my family and are let out to fly daily once they fledge! No babies leave before 8 weeks of age once I am sure they are fully independent and eating well.
Birds are my life and all my budgies are treated with the upmost respect and care and all my adults only get bred from once in a single year so they stay in the best Condition possible. All my birds get given regular preventative treatments to keep them healthy and well. All are housed inside my house in a large inside avairy.
I breed a variety of colours and mutations with my main focus being rainbow, clearwing, recessive pied and german fallow
But we also breed many other mutations such as spangle, opaline, cinnamon, violets, dom pied and blackwing . In both blue and green
They are mostly colour budgie size but my son also breeds large pet type/ exhibition type occasionally.
