Description
Mr magic (aka the green pigeon) is looking for a forever home. We temporarily took him in while his previous owner had to stay in hospital, however they then unfortunately passed away and we are unable to keep him long term. We simply cannot give him the time and attention he deserves.
We believe he is about 4 years old. He enjoys listening to music and dancing, as well as having a quick fly around the room. He generally just likes to sit on top of his cage while you are in the room. If you cook bacon and he can smell it, he will demand his share lol.
He is not massively handleable and it will likely take some trust building and time until he will step up onto your hand. He will do this when he is away from his cage (he is cage defensive so we generally just leave the cage door open for him to come out on his own).
He is wary of strangers but recognises family members, he doesn't have any reaction to kids or cats. His previous owner also had several dogs.
We want him to go to someone who has experience with birds and is home most of the day so he can get enough enrichment and social contact.
He will come with his cage and all accessories we have and his food.
