Description
Fab baby snails. Slightly larger than in the photos. Perfect easy pets that are cheap to look after.
Dont need cleaning often. Once every 2-3 months. Sometimes longer. We have woodlouse with ours that help keep them clean for longer (i can give you some if wanted).
We keep ours in big plastic storage boxes as its a cheaper option. They can go in tanks and vivariums too. They need ventilation. Our plastic tubs have small holes in the top for this (made ourselves)
Half the tank is filled with substrate/soil for snails/reptiles. They like moss too to hide. We also have small plant pots for them to hide in.
They need spraying daily with water for hydration. Food wise they eat all fruit and veg. Change the food every few days. You can get small thin bowls for water.
They must have a heat mat. Cheap to run.
In terms of everything needed I've found amazon to be the cheapest. Avoid pet shops as twice the price for substrate etc.
Very cheap to care for.
Only advice id give is to make sure you regularly check for eggs. They are small and white. I found all of mine right at the bottom of the tub which was a suprise as I've never seen the snails borrow 😳
