Jake is an almost 5 year old health tested show dog, having a decent career in the show ring throughout 2024 & 25. He has obtained 2 Best of Breed awards, 2 Reserve Best of Breeds, and a group placing under a renowned all-rounder judge in mid 2025.
He is a fantastically minded dog, exceptionally biddable, and unfazed by almost any situation. Jake is a beloved family pet first and foremost. He is absolutely brilliant with children, the elderly, and has been a great 'puppy minder' to puppies at our local ringcrafts. He is great with his ladies - very patient and respectful.
Jake has had his required hip score completed, in March 2024, resulting in an incredibly low mark for the breed. Where the average is around 10 in total for weimaraners, Jake's hipscore came back as 0:2, proving his soundness. He has also had his fertility testing done, coming back at 99% motility and all in great shape.
Jake is always praised for his movement in the ring first and foremost, being a very confident and sure-footed mover. He also usually gets the 'cheeky expression' comments!
Jake is great with cats too - he lives with a 5 year old bengal. He also lives with his 18 month old giant schnauzer brother, who is also an intact male.
I will ONLY be putting Jake to health tested females where I can assess their conformation. If you have no full-body images of your dog, or have no health testing to show, I will not be interested in studding him out. I am also NOT interested in doing a mating for a puppy back.
In a sea of backyard breeders in this day and age, be the one to stand out and do at least the minimum required health testing for your breed, and actually consider who you are putting your females to!! It is important not only to health test, and those results be good, but also to make sure that the pairing itself compliments both dogs. It is no use putting two dogs together who lack in the same area, and likewise no use putting two dogs together who are perhaps too much in the other!!
