Description
Winston is looking for a very special forever home.
It's with a very heavy heart that we have decided to find a new home for our lovely boy Winston. Winston is a patterdale terrier and has an endless amount of energy. He loves long walks, being in the garden and playing with our two young children.
Unfortunately, we do not have the time we used to and we really think he would be happier with someone who has more time or could take him to work. We think Winston would benefit from being able to go rat hunting or living on a farm.
He really is a lovely dog and has a great temperament, loves everyone he meets. He has been around other family members' dogs and just wanted to play but as they were smaller dogs, they weren't too keen on him. We aren't sure how he is with bigger dogs as he hasn't really met any. He does jump up and lick when excited so you will have to be okay with that. He does bark at the door and people who come into the house he hasn't met but after sniffing them he calms down.
Overall he is a great dog but we think he could live to his full potential with someone else. We would also like him to go to someone who has had or has experience with patterdale terriers.
