š¾ PENNY FORĀ ADOPTION š¾
This gorgeous little girl is now ready to find her forever home.
Penny is a Meat Trade Survivor from China and is approximately 2 years old. She's currently living with a resident dog in foster in Derby. She's playful, friendly and has shown no issues around other dogs in the home. She loves playing with toys and enjoys spending time relaxing around her doggy friends.
Although she's still a little nervous around strangers, Penny is improving daily and is becoming more confident on her walks. She responds well to gentle encouragement and is beginning to enjoy exploring her surroundings.
Penny would thrive in a home with another friendly young dog of a similar size and temperament for companionship, to learn from and to play with. As she's still only young she would best be suited to a home where someone is around a lot with another canine friend for company. Any time left on her own would need to be built up gradually.
Penny could possibly live with dog savvy children over 7 years old who will also respect her space. However as Penny can still be nervous in new situations we would be looking for a calm home environment. This would need to be discussed with potential adopters on an individual basis.
She has not been cat tested but has seen cats whilst out walking and has shown very little interest.
Penny is gaining confidence and trust every day. She's a lovely little dog with so mį»„ch potential and will make a wonderful companion for the right family. She doesn't need much, just a comfy bed, plenty of love, and people willing to help her continue blossoming into the wonderful little dog she is becoming.
