We’re looking for a very special home for our 5-year-old Dachshund cross Jack Russel girl. Daisy is being rehomed to no fault of her own but her owners as they needed a companion dog but now as my mother being elderly she’s no longer able to take her for walks daily and give her the adventures that she loves. She’s a playful and easy-to-please little dog who loves attention & being part of a family. She’s great with both children and adults. Like any dog, she has a few little quirks that her new family should be aware of. She can get a little over-excited around other dogs when off lead so she needs some encouragement to play nicely rather than constantly wanting to chase. Outside of this, she is very easy to manage, house trained, great on the lead, has the basic training, well behaved if left inside the house for a couple hours and great in the car. She could happily live as the only pet or with another friendly dog to keep her company. This is extremely sad as I’d love to take her on myself but my old Labrador is a grumpy old girl and doesn’t like other dogs so this is the best decision for our Daisy’s future ahead of her.
