Phoenix is our stunning and petite boy (at just 4kg) with a very gentle nature - making an excellent stud choice. He is proven and producing beautiful quality puppies, regularly with litter sizes as large as 7-8. He's a petite and well balanced dog, so is perfect for any smaller or first time girls.
We’re so proud of our lovely boy, as he adds in type, health & his brilliant personality to breedings.

A bit more about our gorgeous Phoenix...
Phoenix is beautifully proportioned with a correct old-school, straight topline (back). He has a traditional and stunning houndy head, as the breed should have. We’re so proud to own such a lovely boy, he’s gentle and soft natured.
Phoenix boasts a great pedigree full of traditional English lines; his father a Crufts winner and champion, with 16 champions in his 5 generation pedigree. He has no dapple or dilute colour in his 5 gen pedigree. He can therefore throw black & tan, red, chocolate & tan puppies, dapples & brindles (if mum is).
We have 4 generations, with no history of IVDD in the lines. This is rare to be able to find in the breed these days - we are so lucky to have such a healthy and quality lineage, having been in the breed over 20 years. Phoenix is PRA Clear and up to date on all vet checks. He's fed on a high quality, nutritionist designed raw diet with fertility enhancing, natural supplements such as organic wheatgerm. We can also offer you guidance on natural supplements for your girl prior to mating and throughout.
If travel is difficult, we can send chilled semen nationally by arrangement.
As a breeding nutritionist with decades of experience we are happy to offer you support & advice throughout your girl’s pregnancy, as we know how daunting it can feel. Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
