Coco has bright eyes and a lovely little face, and I’d really love to find her a home soon. If you’re looking for a young cat, please give her a look and apply. I’ll be in touch about whether she could be a match for your home.
Coco has been flea treated and wormed. She has not yet been neutered or microchipped. We neuter all cats who are old enough (five months) or weigh enough (2 kilos) before adoption. For younger kittens, the responsibility is on the owner to ensure they are neutered as soon as they are old enough.
Penny Paws is funded entirely by adoption fees and donations. That money has to cover food, litter, flea and worm treatment, vet checks, microchips and neutering for cats across our 15 foster homes. It’s a struggle to make the pot stretch to everyone, even before an emergency vet bill comes in, so we can’t routinely fund vaccinations as well.
Your new vet can start Coco’s vaccination course after adoption and make sure her care is recorded with them from the beginning. Many vets offer health plans that spread the cost of routine care, including vaccinations, across monthly payments, so please do ask what’s available locally. The cost of arranging jabs should not put the right person off giving Coco a home.
A £50 deposit is needed to reserve Coco and is taken off her adoption fee.
Coco can be collected from her foster home in Slough. If you’d rather collect her from Penny Paws HQ, which is my home in Hook, Hampshire, I can usually arrange for a volunteer to drive a reserved cat from their foster home to me. The deposit helps cover the volunteer’s fuel costs.
