Description

My name is Sheiley, and I am a calm and gentle girl who loves to relax and lounge around. I can be a little nervous around other cats at first, but I have learned how to find my confidence. In the beginning, I would cautiously dash past them with a little hiss before jumping onto the kitchen table for mealtime. Over time, I have become much more comfortable and settled well into new surroundings without taking too long to adjust. I previously lived in the garden of a wonderful lady who took me in and treated me as part of the family. During my time there, I had four litters of kittens, all raised safely and lovingly in her care. Once my last babies had grown up and found homes of their own, the family sadly had to leave the country and could no longer keep me. Although they loved me dearly, they knew I would not be happy living entirely indoors, as I truly adore being outside. I love exploring and will often stand by the door to ask to go out. I am a beautiful, affectionate girl with a loving nature, and I would make a wonderful companion in the right home. To reserve a cat we ask for a £50 non-refundable deposit, with the remainder paid on collection (Pets4Homes does not allow this to be shown clearly in ads). I don’t carry out formal home checks but I do ask for a short home video so I can ensure each cat is placed somewhere safe and suitable. We adopted a rescued kitten that Rebecca was fostering a few months ago, who had been found with her mum and the rest of the litter. However, you wouldn’t have guessed she had this rough start in life - Rebecca took the whole litter and their mum in and gave them the patient, loving home they needed to be ready for their forever home (as she does with any foster in her care!). She nurtured them to become healthy, confident and happy kittens and our little girl is absolutely wonderful. Our experience with Rebecca was amazing - she was super communicative, sending photos and videos of our kitten every day so we could see her growing up, and it always felt like she was doing the best she could by all the animals in her care. She’s a star!!

Extremely conscientious foster who managed to ensure the cat was going to a good home without being overbearing or demanding. Always had the pets' best interests in mind but also conscious of the needs of the buyer.
