We are delighted to offer a limited number of fertile mixed hen eggs from our small, well-loved flock — perfect if you enjoy the excitement of hatching unique crossbreed chicks with plenty of personality.
Our hens include:
• Rhode Island Reds
• Silver Orpingtons
• Leghorns
• Marans
• Black Sumatras
• Gold-Laced Malays
• Sussex
• Bluebells
The flock is running with three cockerels — two bantams and one Black Sumatra, so chicks will be a genuine mixed surprise with the potential for some beautiful and unusual combinations.
This is very much a pot luck hatch, which makes it fun — you could end up with anything from elegant ornamental-type birds to friendly backyard layers depending on genetics.
🥚 Egg colours from the flock include:
• Blue
• White
• Dark chocolate brown
• Green / khaki
• Light brown
So you may also hatch future hens that lay a colourful egg basket.
Please remember fertility and hatch rates can never be guaranteed due to factors outside our control (incubation, handling, postage etc.), but we only send eggs we would happily incubate ourselves.
