Description

Meet Ronnie 💙 Male 2 years old Small size Available for foster, foster to adopt, and adoption Location: Foster home in Macclesfield 💙 Ronnie looks like butter wouldn't melt but he struggles with daily life and really needs an experienced home to help him navigate the world. He is a small dog with very big feelings and he is looking for a specific type of home to enable him to settle and start to enjoy life rather than spend all his time worrying. His behavior is completely the result of fear. Ronnie is looking for a calm and quiet household with minimal visitors. He gets very stressed by visitors to the home, whether they just ring the doorbell or enter the home. He does not like eye contact and can lunge if not completely separated. His current foster family have had success putting him in his crate in another room with calming music playing. Ronnie uses growling and snapping as a way to create space between him and whatever is happening, and most of the time it is a fear reaction. Ronnie can live with both cats and dogs although it is recommended that he is fed in a separate room. He can be quite boisterous when playing with other dogs but generally gets on well with other resident pets. He can be very vocal and reactive when out on walks to external stimuli such as bicycles, and other dogs and people. It would be beneficial for him to have access to quiet for walks where he doesn't come across anything that would cause him stress. Ronnie loves his agility training. It's a great outlet for his energy and gives him something to focus on that he loves doing. He is very clever and athletic and it would be lovely for him to continue this in his new home. Ronnie is not a lap dog but in a quiet home he could be a lovely companion for someone who prefers the same. He could be your wingman, and your ride and, the two of you against the world (literally for Ronnie!). There is a perfect home for every dog, and for Ronnie the options may be more limited, but he is absolutely worthy of taking a chance on if you live the sort of lifestyle where he would thrive.💙 🐶 Ronnie can live with dogs 🐱 Ronnie can live with cats 👧 Ronnie can live with children 15+ 🐕‍🦺 Ronnie accepts a collar, harness and lead Please consider Ronnie 🙏 Vaccinated ✅ Microchipped ✅ Neutered/spayed ✅ Chemically ⭐️ Home Check and Adoption fees apply ⭐️ Full Rescue Back Up provided Please apply for Ronnie here : https://www.pawprints2freedom.co.uk/apply ID Code : UK 006D
