I have a Perro De Presa Canario female named Cleo. Cleo has been through a lot in her life she was neglected (starved and beat) since a pup until she got rescued and come to us at about 10/11 months old. She was very underweight but still so full of love. Last few years she has grew up with 3 children, another dog and a cat. Cleo literally craves affection. She thinks she’s a lap dog. The reason I’m looking for a new home for Cleo is because our life situation has worsened and we physically don’t have time for her that she craves. She is a large dog that needs a lot of exercise, walking, play, love and affection. She isn’t getting everything she needs here and I don’t want her to be sad or have a sad life so I want to find someone who will love her more than anyone in the world. Cleo is a well behaved dog, she does bark a lot when the door knocks and when people first come in but she has never bit or hurt anyone. She listens well to what she’s being told to do. She is VERY good and gentle with children. She takes food very gently and slowly out the hand. IMPORTANT INFO: Cleo does suffer with PHANTOM PREGNANCIES. Where she will go through a depressive state, guard her toys and her boobs swell up and actually leak milk, this is something her mother also kept going through. I’d also like to add that she isn’t too friendly with other dogs due to past trauma. (She got attacked by a German Shepard as a pup and not really got on with dogs after that)
