Meet Roxy – Experienced Home Needed
Due to major changes in my housing situation, I need to find Roxy the stable, experienced home she deserves. This is absolutely no fault of her own and is a heartbreaking decision. As you can tell we adore her.
Roxy is a beautiful Cane Corso/American Bulldog mix with huge potential in the right hands. She is deeply loyal, affectionate, and loving with the people she trusts, but she is not an easy dog and needs an experienced owner familiar with strong/guardian breeds.
About Roxy:
• VeryEnergetic & loves her walks.
• Very loyal and affectionate once bonded
• Loves cuddles and being close to her people
• Obedient and responsive with consistency
• Loves a car journey
• Vocal in the home and can bark a lot, but settles when corrected
• Reactive on lead around unfamiliar dogs (barking/lunging)
• Much better off lead and generally mixes well with dogs after proper introductions
• Wary of strangers initially and takes time to warm up — multiple meets required
• Lives with a cat currently, but careful introductions would be needed in any cat home
• Great with older children/teenagers; no young children preferred due to limited exposure
Ideal Home:
• Experienced/confident owner
• Someone committed to continuing training
• Calm, structured environment with boundaries
• Experience with reactive or guardian breeds
Roxy has so much potential and in the right home will be an incredibly loyal, rewarding companion.
