Description

We are rehoming our male Jack Russell, we just want a good home for him. Finn is an almost 18 month old brown and tan Jack Russell who has not yet been neutered. Finn was the runt of his litter so is a small boy, he is a typical terrier full of energy and requires lots of exercise and mental stimulation, a home where this can be provided is essential. He loves playing fetch, and loves going on walks. He’s not much of a cuddly lap dog but he still enjoys a good fuss. Full transparency-we are rehoming him because we have another dog who he can be quite unkind to constantly nipping at her and chasing her despite us and her telling him to leave, it’s not plausible for us to keep them separated at all times and it is making our female dog distressed. We have 3 children and he has nipped at our youngest child a few times for taking things off him (eg. Kids toys) and most recently has bitten him in the face drawing blood, so he is showing some signs of resource guarding. If he is left unattended he will mark in the home, we have been using belly bands to prevent this and allow him to still have freedom. He is reactive at walk times and barks and pulls towards every dog he sees. His new home should be with someone who has plenty of spare time to give Finn plenty of attention and train him further. He would be better suited to a home without any other pets but most certainly without any younger children. He is fully vaccinated and microchipped. Any questions please message me.
