Some dogs have a way of making you stop and ask, “How could anyone leave you behind?” Lollipop is one of them. ❤️
As a young pup, Lollipop was abandoned near a village. For months, she survived on leftovers and whatever food kind people offered her. She had no home to return to and no one whose job it was to keep her safe.
We met her through our work neutering stray dogs. Someone brought Lollipop to us to be spayed, with the intention that she would be returned to the same place afterwards. Once we got to know her, we couldn’t bear the thought of sending this affectionate little soul back to a life full of dangers. So Lollipop stayed with us. Now we’re hoping to find the family she should have had all along. 🏡
🐾 What is Lollipop like?
Lollipop is a lovely, affectionate girl who is good with people, other dogs and cats. She enjoys company and has so much love to give. After spending her early months making do with whatever came her way, she deserves the security of a family who will cherish her for the rest of her life.
She has a sweet, shaggy appearance, a soft cream coat with darker markings around her face and ears, and an expression that is very hard to resist! We would describe her as a small, shaggy mixed breed, possibly with a terrier type or similar companion breed in her ancestry. That is only a guess from her appearance; we cannot confirm her breed mix. Her coat will need regular brushing and grooming to keep her comfortable. ✂️🐶
💉 Lollipop is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. She will be ready for her new home from 15 October 2026.
🏡 The home we hope to find
We would love Lollipop to have a kind, patient family who will give her time to settle and enjoy all the ordinary pleasures she has missed: a safe place to sleep, gentle attention, walks, play and the reassurance that she belongs. She could be considered for a home with a suitable resident dog or cat, with sensible introductions.
As with all our rescue dogs, we ask adopters to give her time to adjust. A dog who has lived without a secure home may need patience while she learns a new routine, even when she is as friendly as Lollipop. We do not rehome to households with children under 10.
🚐 Adoption and transport
Friends InDeed Dog Rescue rehomes to suitable homes across the UK. We arrange transport to England and Wales approximately every two weeks and to Scotland approximately monthly, subject to the route and arrangements at the time. We carry out a home check, often online, and we’ll talk with you carefully about whether Lollipop is the right match for your household.
No payment is requested until you meet Lollipop. We also offer lifetime rescue back-up: if circumstances ever change, we will be here for her. ❤️
Lollipop is being rehomed as a loved family pet only. We do not supply dogs for breeding, guarding, working or service/assistance dog roles.
