Description
We are looking for a loving home for King, our 12-week-old German Shepherd × Rottweiler puppy. This is an extremely difficult decision made with his long-term wellbeing in mind.
About King;
-Male, 12 weeks old
-German Shepherd × Rottweiler
-Raised in a home environment, good with children, people and other animals.
-Confident, intelligent, and people-oriented
-Very affectionate, loves cuddles and being close to his humans
-Curious, bold, and not fearful of new environments
-Loves car rides and being taken out in his carrier
Training & Progress
King is very bright and already has a strong foundation:
-Crate trained (walks into his crate on command, settles and sleeps in it)
-Has learnt sit, paw, ‘go potty’, ‘crate’, ‘wait’ and is practicing ‘stay’ as well as ‘drop it’
-Familiar with a daily routine (sleep, potty, meals, play)
-Sleeps in structured naps during the day
-Learning to self-soothe in his crate
-Goes to potty immediately when taken outside
-Comfortable being handled, picked up, and examined
-Responds well to calm redirection and structure
Temperament
-Typical large-breed puppy energy
-Playful, loving, cuddly, curious and strong (as expected for his breed mix)
-Very engaged with people and thrives on interaction
-Not fearful or nervous
-Will suit a home that understands working/guardian breeds and can continue training, boundaries, and mental stimulation
Health;
-Vet checked and cleared
-Wormed, deflea’d, and vaccinations completed
-Eating well and growing appropriately
- will come with vet health booklet
What He Needs
King will do best in:
-A home with experience of large or working breeds
-Someone able to continue crate training and routine
- home with a garden he can run around
