Our gorgeous brown Newfoundland boy is available for stud duties to suitable, health-tested, registered Newfoundland females.
🤎 Temperament & Personality
He is everything you would expect from this wonderful breed – a truly gorgeous boy with a heart of gold!
Incredibly loving, affectionate and sweet-natured, with a cheeky personality that keeps us entertained daily.
Despite his silly , loving nature at home, he is a very active boy who absolutely loves the outdoors. He will happily walk for miles, exploring the countryside, diving in and out of bushes and enjoying every adventure.
He absolutely adores children and people of all ages and is a much-loved family dog. He lives happily alongside other dogs, cats and other household pets.
He really is a wonderful example of the Newfoundland temperament – sweet, loyal and full of character with a stunning thick holden brown coat that turns heads everywhere he goes. 🤎
🩺 Health Testing
Health and responsible breeding are extremely important to us.
He is fully health tested, including:
✅ Heart Doppler tested
✅ Hips scored – below the breed average
✅ Elbows scored
✅ Cystinuria (CU) clear
✅️ semen analysis done yearly latest update 18/10/26 high mobility
All health results are available upon request, and copies of the relevant certificates will be provided.
🐾 Stud Requirements & Important Information
We take responsible breeding seriously and therefore have a few requirements:
✔️ Females must be registered, purebred Newfoundlands.
✔️ Females must have undergone progesterone blood testing or cytology before arranging a mating, to establish that they are approaching or within their fertile window.
✔️ We will not proceed with artificial insemination unless appropriate testing indicates that the timing is suitable. This is to avoid unnecessary travel, wasted time and unsuccessful attempts.
✔️ No crossbreeding. He is available to purebred Newfoundland females only.
🏥 Artificial Insemination (AI)
We use a trusted canine fertility clinic in Birmingham, and I am more than happy to pass on their details. The clinic offers cytology testing and artificial insemination services.
💷 The stud fee includes two AI sessions, approximately 48 hours apart, with timing guided by fertility testing.
We aim to make the whole process as straightforward, professional and stress-free as possible for everyone involved, with the welfare of both dogs being our priority.
