I am very proud to announce that Romeo and Juliette (coincidence of names) have produced an ethical litter of just two exceptionally bred, precious puppies. (I do not use my pets to churn out puppies.) Contrary to the criticism that T chihuahuas receive for being handbag dogs, a litter of only two puppies is much less exerting on the poor mother dogs. (The size of the litter is determined by the capacity of the uterus.) The puppies are rare, tiny, long coat chihuahua puppies: one dark chocolate boy with green eyes and one lilac boy (in other words carrying the blue gene) with a purple nose and blue eyes turning green now. Both puppies’ coats are a solid colour without any blotches. I chose a genetically tested sire to ensure he does not carry the dangerous merle gene. (Tested negative for the merle gene.) Mother and grandmother are both smooth coat chihuahuas, but they have proper conformation for the breed and do not resemble Chinese crested dogs or ratlers. ______________________________________________ The puppies are absolutely adorable, of premium quality with a perfect chihuahua built - perfect apple head & short muzzle; short, curved tail, and correct ears. They are very playful and sweet, neither of the puppies is snappy. Both puppies are extra, extra small from their mother and tiny grandmother; however, Dark Chocolate Puppy is a bit more energetic and faster, whilst Lilac Puppy is even smaller with slighter shorter legs. Their gold mother (in the 7th photo) is my pet. She has an exceptionally sweet character with zero aggression or snappiness towards other dogs or humans; the sire (in the 8th & 9th photos) is also a very sweet chihuahua. (I do not own the sire.) In the video, they are playing with their lilac grandmother. ______________________________________________ The puppies are exceptionally beautiful. They have been vet health checked, but also have a beautifully healthy appearance. Despite their tiny size, they do not look sickly at all and do not have the hydrocephalus condition in which the head is too big for the body. They are healthy chubby with puppy fat, which is not always reflected in their photos. These are also brain smart puppies. They are not disoriented and have healthy, intellectually bright eyes. From the moment they opened their eyes, they recognised that I am human and garnered towards me; and have continued doing so. They are genuinely curious puppies that do not appear lost or confused. They really are perfect - both in appearance and development and would make wonderful pets for either a caring family or individual who appreciates the aesthetic beauty of unique, unconventional dogs. ____________________________________________ The puppies will be DWKC registered. Their father was K.C. registered with many champions in his line. Both puppies have the potential to be beautiful, rare studs if you would like to spread their wonderful healthy genes and premium quality. I am certain that the lilac puppy would be the smallest long-haired stud in the U.K., making him ONE-OF-A-KIND in the entire chihuahua population of the U.K. Artificial insemination would be required, as that is how his mother was impregnated. The unique solid dark chocolate puppy would also be T-sized if offered as stud. _______________________________________________ Coat Type & What to Expect as They Grow Both puppies in this litter are long-coated chihuahuas (genetically ll, sired by a long-haired stud). At 8 weeks old, their long coats are just beginning to show through soft ear tufts, plush body fur, and fine feathering along their legs and tails. Please note that long-haired Chihuahuas do not develop their full length rapidly. Between 4 to 8 months, they will shed their soft puppy fluff to make way for adult fur. Their full, silky adult coat, chest ruff, and signature fan-like tail plume will continue to fill out and reach maximum length between 18 and 24 months of age. _______________________________________________ The puppies have been microchipped and fully vaccinated.
