I have a handful of merino sheep for sale.
The term 'merino' is an encompassing term for a number of merino breeds developed in different countries. I have a few different ones.
For sale, I have:
- 1 bowmont X est à laine shearling ram
- 1 Saxon X est à laine ram lamb
- 1 Saxon X bowmont ram lamb
- 2 bowmont ewes
- 2 est à laine ewes
The shearling ram is unrelated to three of the ewes. The ewes are proven and have been running with a Saxon ram - who is unrelated to the shearling ram. The covering ram has a fleece of 17 microns. These will be scanned in October.
These are covered by heptavac, bultavo-3, and footvax.
A lot of people with no experience are happy to proclaim that merinos have foot problems. They don't. They have softer feet because their skin is pink and their horn is white, but they get the standard care my other sheep get and thrive. I have no foot problems with these at all.
I'm happy to discuss a price for the whole group or split it depending on what you're looking for. There's no problem if you're just looking for one of just for a ram to add to your fibre flock.
