Bella's breed is a Greyhound crossed with Belgian Malinois.
Bella is a happy, bouncy, fun loving pup with a big personality and a huge love for adventure. She adores having space to zoom around, going on long walks, and proudly showing off her favourite treasures, chewy bones and tennis balls, the squeakier the better.
Sadly, due to changes at home and Bella needing more space and exercise than we can provide, we are looking for a new forever home where she can truly thrive. She would be perfect for an active, loving family who enjoys long walks, playtime, and giving her plenty of exercise to burn off that puppy energy.
Bella has learned her basic manners outdoors and knows commands like wait, stay, walk, sit, and paw. She is clever and eager, but will need continued training outdoors to help her stay focused and confident when surrounded by exciting sights and smells. She loves to play and can get bored if under stimulated, but one good long walk usually does the trick and turns her into a happy, tired pup.
Bella is somewhat hesitant around other dogs. Although she has grown up around four other dogs of different breeds, she seems more comfortable with dogs she already knows. When meeting new dogs on walks, she can appear confused and cautious at first. She is not aggressive and does not show any violent behaviour, she is simply unsure, and with time, patience, and positive experiences this should improve.
She is puppy pad trained and also does her business on walks. Bella travels beautifully in the car, sitting or lying calmly in the back seat, and she is an absolute star at the vets too.
She prefers shorter leads under 2m, as longer ones turn into spinning, chewy fun sessions, so a sturdy short lead is ideal. While she has not been off lead yet due to her excitement levels, she would benefit greatly from safe, enclosed land to practice recall and build confidence.
One thing to know about Bella, she loves food. A little too much. Dinner time requires supervision, and while jelly babies are her absolute favourite you are not supposed to have that treat, she will happily try her luck if you are not watching.
Please no time wasters also.
