Description
💔 GISELLE - DUMPED BESIDE A SHOP, NOW WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO CHOOSE HER 💔
On 20 May 2026, two tiny puppies appeared outside a convenience shop.
Someone had simply abandoned them there.
Shoppers took pity on the frightened little siblings, sharing small pieces of food from their shopping and leaving them a bowl of water. But the dog wardens had been called, and we knew that the puppies could soon be taken to one of the terrible public kill “shelters”.
We could not allow that to happen.
Although every available space was already full, we rescued the puppies and found them places at a large private boarding kennel nearly 300 km away.
Sadly, soon afterwards, Giselle’s little brother suddenly died. It was believed to have been an acute cardiac event, possibly worsened by the extreme heat.
Giselle was left alone — but she survived. ❤️
Now this affectionate, playful and confident young girl is ready to find the family who will make sure that she is never abandoned or left behind again.
🌺 ABOUT GISELLE
Giselle is a very affectionate, friendly and playful puppy who loves human company. She enjoys attention, cuddles and interaction and has a happy, confident personality.
She is sociable with other dogs, but she can be rather bossy. She sometimes tries to control smaller or more submissive dogs and may bully a smaller female companion if allowed.
For this reason, Giselle would be best suited to:
• A home where she is the only dog; or
• A home with a larger, confident and well-balanced male dog who will not be intimidated by her.
We would not place her with a smaller or timid female dog.
Any resident dog must be introduced carefully, and Giselle should always be fed separately. Food, chews and other valuable items should be managed responsibly to prevent competition between dogs.
Giselle is not a vicious puppy. She is simply confident, strong-minded and still learning appropriate boundaries. She needs a calm, experienced family who will guide her kindly and consistently rather than allowing her to dominate another dog.
🐕 AGE, APPEARANCE & EXPECTED SIZE
• Female
• Estimated date of birth: 1 April 2026
• Currently a young puppy
• Expected to become approximately medium-sized, although her final adult size cannot be guaranteed
• Beautiful white coat with distinctive brown markings
• Likely a Romanian mixed breed, possibly with Shepherd and hound-type ancestry
Her date of birth is an estimate based on her appearance and development when she was rescued.
🩺 HEALTH & VETTING
Giselle’s paperwork is currently being completed. Her full vaccination, microchip, parasite-treatment and health details will be confirmed in her official documents before adoption.
She has not been spayed because she is still too young. Her adopter must agree to have her spayed at the appropriate age, following veterinary advice, and provide confirmation to the rescue.
🏡 GISELLE’S IDEAL HOME
Giselle needs a loving but confident family who understands that an affectionate puppy can also be clever, energetic and strong-minded.
Her adopter must be prepared to continue:
• House-training
• Lead training
• Positive socialisation
• Basic commands and good manners
• Calm boundaries around other dogs
• Teaching her gradually how to spend short periods alone
• Separating dogs for meals, chews and other high-value resources
Because she is a lively young puppy who may jump, mouth and become excitable while learning, we will not consider homes with children under 10.
Her compatibility with cats has not been confirmed.
A secure, private garden belonging to the adopter’s home is essential.
