It’s with a very heavy heart that I’m looking for a loving, suitable home for Nesta. This hasn’t been an easy decision, but unfortunately, we’ve exhausted every avenue since purchasing him as we were told he was a completely different dog to what he actually is. We’re struggling to meet his needs alongside our current circumstances and we want what’s best for him. Nesta is a very sweet, affectionate boy who loves attention and being around people. He has lots of potential but needs an experienced, patient owner who can dedicate the time and consistency required to help him settle and learn. His exact date of birth is unknown, but he is believed to be approximately 10/11 months old. His breed is believed to be a Cane Corso × Boerboel. Things potential owners need to know that we were not told before buying Nesta: • He is not reliably house-trained and currently wees indoors, particularly overnight. • He struggles with being left alone and can become distressed, crying and pacing so would benefit from someone who is able to be with him a lot and work on this. • He pulls on the lead and needs ongoing training with that. His previous owner described him as good with dogs and cats, but compatibility with other animals would need to be assessed carefully. His experience around children and unfamiliar male dogs is unknown. Nesta needs a home where someone has the time, patience and experience to work with him and help him become the best version of himself. He is still young, and we want to give him the best possible chance of a happy future. This decision has been heartbreaking, and we will be very careful about who he goes to. His welfare is our priority, and we are looking for a committed, responsible home rather than simply the quickest option.
