Description
Meet our sweet 2-year-old boy, a small–medium mixed breed with a big heart and lots of love to give. This is not an easy post for us to write — we are looking to rehome him with genuine sadness, only after accepting that we are currently unable to meet his full needs. He deserves more than what we could offer.
He is very affectionate and people-oriented, strongly bonded to his family and especially gentle and kind with children. At home he is loving, playful and enjoys cuddles, attention and being close to his people. He is used to living in a house with a garden and family routine.
He is very food-motivated and highly excited by treats, which makes him a good candidate for continued reward-based training.
Outside, he is strong on the lead and reactive toward other dogs, so he needs a calm, confident owner willing to continue his training and help build his confidence on walks. With patience and consistency, he has real potential to improve.
He is microchipped. His most recent annual booster could not be completed due to stress and reactivity around other dogs at the clinic.
We are expecting a baby soon and, with heavy hearts, recognise that we cannot provide the level of time, structured exercise and behaviour work he truly deserves. Our priority is finding him a safe, experienced and loving long-term home. We are not rushing — the right match matters most.
