We honestly don’t understand why Rocky hasn’t found his people yet. He really is such a friendly, sociable, playful and affectionate boy who would bring so much joy into someone’s life. Rocky is 1 year old. He adores other dogs and never misses a chance to say hello. He loves playing, going for walks and spending time with his humans. He has a lovely, affectionate nature and a goofy side that will make you smile. Rocky is happiest sharing life with those he loves. He is fully house-trained and clean in the home, walks on his lead and long line, and is doing really well with his recall, although ongoing training will be required. Rocky is looking for a loving, stable home with a good routine and a secure garden. Ideally, he would love a friendly canine sibling/s to share his adventures, playtime and cosy naps with, as having other dogs around is really important to him. However, he could also be happy as an only dog in an active home where he has plenty of opportunities to socialise, play and spend time with other dogs. Rocky can still feel a little worried around moving cars and large, noisy vehicles, so a quieter home away from a busy main road would suit him best. He would benefit from a peaceful environment where he can continue building his confidence around traffic at his own pace. The good news is that he travels well in the car and is very comfortable with car journeys! He could live with dog-savvy children who understand how to interact respectfully with dogs. Rocky hasn’t lived with cats, and as he can chase them on walks, a cat-free home would be preferable. This lovely boy has all the makings of a wonderful companion. He needs a family who will include him in their lives, enjoy adventures with him, offer plenty of affection and give him the stability and companionship he deserves. In return, Rocky will bring you endless fun, loyalty, cuddles and so much love. We would love nothing more than to see this gorgeous 1 year old boy finally find the family he’s been waiting for. He really is too good to be true, and we know he would make someone incredibly happy. Could that someone be you? ❤️ Adoption process: Pre-adoption form, in-person home check, meet and greet, adoption contract and an adoption fee of £450 - this fee partially reimburses Rocky’s transport costs from Macedonia to the UK. Rocky's background: The start of my life hasn’t been easy. I was born as a stray, and by the time help came, all of my siblings had been poisoned. My mum and I were the only ones who survived, and I’m so grateful we had each other. My mum has now been adopted and is enjoying a wonderful new life, and I dream of having that same chance. I’m hoping that one day soon my own forever humans will find me and want to love me, care for me, and show me the happy forever life I’ve always deserved. I have been in my foster home for quite a while now and I have learned everything I possibly could and they tell me I am the best boy all the time, so please don’t overlook me any longer, I need my own home now! 🥹❤️🐾
