Two male guinea pigs ( chip & taz) need a new home. I hate that I’m having to rehome them but they aren’t getting the attention they need and it’s such a shame as they are lovely. I brought them for my daughter in June 2025. She was about nervous handling them and has since lost interest as she’s now in year 11 at school and has so much to do. They can be handled but they are little skitty when trying to catch. Chip ( brown) is a lot easier to catch and happy being petted once he’s used to you but tax ( grey) just doesn’t like being caught and will run round for ages unless you know how to get him. I’m sure with time and attention they would be different again. Never bitten . Just quick . Love being out on grass which again they don’t get that often due to me being at work all the time and leaving them out in the evening for few hours is difficult due to a lot of cats near me waiting to pounce and having two dogs that wouldn’t take to them. So over all I want them to go to a lovely home where they get fuss and attention. Preferably somewhere that can have them indoors or a garage over winter. They would come with their hutch and run and everything I have for them. Their hutch is a home made one I had off Facebook market for them and I’m not lying when I say you need the worlds strongest man to collect. The back of the roof could do with little tlc but I’ve had a old gate on it to keep water off and it’s been ok. New felt would do the trick. It’s soo heavy. Definitely need a van transit size. Their run does ok for them but is flimsy. It does the trick but won’t last forever. They been together since 6 weeks old so have to stay together. Happy living together as long as they have space to be apart when they want a break. Healthy happy little boys just want time and fuss. Always happy to see you first thing in the morning when you go to feed them. The sqeak and shout you all the time.
