I’m looking for a very specific, experienced home for my 2-year-old Yorkiepoo. This has been a very difficult decision, but I want what’s best for him and for him to have the chance to thrive in the right environment. He is a loving and affectionate little dog who forms very strong bonds with his person. Once he trusts you, he enjoys cuddles, attention, and being close by. He is intelligent, playful, and has lots of personality. He can be very sweet at home when he feels safe and settled, and he enjoys toys, treats, and calm However, he does have significant anxiety, including separation anxiety, and can show aggressive behaviour when stressed or overwhelmed. He has bitten previously, so he will only be suitable for an adult-only home with no children and no other animals. He needs someone calm, patient, and experienced with behavioural dogs who is willing to continue working on his training and confidence. He is currently on fluoxetine prescribed by a vet for long-term anxiety support. With the right environment, structure, and consistency, he has the potential to make progress, but he will need ongoing understanding and This is a difficult rehoming, and I will prioritise finding the right home over a quick sale.
