Description
We are very proud and emotional to finally be able to introduce you to Shandy . She is so incredibly special and adored by us all.
Shandy arrived with us 4 years ago, and it was one of the most upsetting collection of any dog ever as she was so scared and traumatised.
It's been a very long rehabilitation process with Shandy as she couldn't be touched for a long time. She would always be one step behind us, but we couldn't help her to understand that we wouldn't hurt her.
Eventually, we got there, and boy, does this girl LOVE to be stroked and loved now. She's always first up for cuddles!! She likes to nuzzle her nose under your arm to insert herself into prime cuddle position.
The lead was a huge issue for Shandy, and she would scream and poo herself every time we tried, but with gentle persuasion and a lot of patience , we have finally managed lead walking.
Shandy is the most beautiful, gentle girl, and is finally ready to look for her forever home. She will need to live with another dog/dogs and will need experienced owners.
Shandy loves to play, she's fantastic with all dogs. She likes a good chat and can be vocal at times. Not so much barking, just chatting!!
Shandy can't live with cats or small furries, and we would prefer a quiet adult home for her who will continue to take life at Shandy's pace.
Shes absolutely as good as gold, she has great recall, gets on with everyone, and just wants to be loved.
Shandy is now 6 years old, she will need multiple meets before she goes home, and we are so happy to have finally got her to where she is today.
