Merdelaine are proud to present an exceptional litter of seven Australian Shepherd puppies, bred from a thoughtfully selected pairing of proven, health-tested parents with consistent quality in both type and temperament. The puppies also receive proper health testing in line with BVA and BAER schemes, 2 health checks and a full vaccine course. Father taking best puppy at LKA 2023 on his first outing. ⸻ 🐾 What Our Puppies Receive Each puppy will leave us with: • Full primary vaccination course (both L2 vaccines administered) • Microchip • Individual BAER hearing assessment • BVA eye examination • Two comprehensive veterinary health checks We place great emphasis on producing puppies that are not only healthy but well-prepared for life in their new homes. ⸻ 🏡 Early Development & Socialisation Our puppies are raised within the home as part of daily life, not in kennel blocks. We have 6 children whom are heavily involved with the dogs, their care and showing also. The puppies are developed using a structured, experience-based socialisation programme, refined over many years. Puppies are raised within our established, balanced adult pack, allowing them to learn: • Appropriate canine communication • Emotional stability and resilience • Boundaries and manners from a young age We consider this early education fundamental to producing confident, well-adjusted dogs. For this reason, we do not allow puppies to leave before 10 weeks, and will often retain them until 12 weeks where beneficial to their development. Prior to this we firmly believe the puppies are too young both physically and mentally to leave their litter, increasing chances of immediate health implications (such as stress related diarrhoeas) and behavioural issues later down the line. ⸻ 📌 Additional Details • All puppies are naturally tailed • Images include a retained black tri female (half-sister to this litter at 4 months), demonstrating the consistency of this line and quality • This sire has proven to produce reliable offspring, and this pairing is one we are particularly proud of and also retaining from. •the puppies are raised on raw food alongside a cold pressed complete pellet enabling owners to feed dry or raw. Please note we will not place any puppy in a home where low quality extruded kibble will be fed.
