Description
I’m Carefully looking for the perfect forever home for my beautiful, loving girl.
This is a heartbreaking post to write, but I’m looking to carefully rehome my beautiful 3-year-old, female Saint Bernard due to changes in my family’s health needs.
This is not her fault in any way. she is a truly loving dog and has a wonderful temperament. Unfortunately, because of disabilities in my household, I’m no longer able to give her the time, attention, and daily companionship she deserves.
She is fully house trained, good on the lead and doesn’t bark much at all.
About her:
•🐶 3-year-old Saint Bernard
• ✂️ Spayed
•💉 Fully vaccinated (up to date)
•🪱 Flea and worming up to date
•🪪 Microchipped
• ❤️ No known health conditions
•🧸 Raised around children of all ages and other dogs.
Personality: She is playful, cuddly, and extremely loving. She adores people and loves being involved in family life. She gets very excited and is happiest when she’s with someone.
She loves:
• Walks and being outdoors
• Other dogs
• Children and family life, people.
The home I’m looking for:
•A loving home where she will not be left alone for long periods
•Someone who understands large breeds
•A family who will treat her as a lifelong member of the family
•A home willing to meet first and ensure it’s the right fit.
Food / costs (please read):
Like many big dogs, she can be a little fussy with food, so she may need someone patient with feeding. She currently eats tails dog food and her treats are things like chicken feet, pigs ears etc.
Her monthly costs are roughly £150–£200 per month, which includes everything she needs (food subscription, pet plan, treats, eye wipes, etc). Please only message if you are comfortable with the costs of a giant breed.
•A reasonable rehoming fee will apply to ensure she goes to a genuine, responsible home.
This is not first come, first served. She will only go to a home I feel is right for her.
If you are genuinely interested, please message me with:
•Where you are based
•Your household (adults/children/other pets)
•Your experience with dogs (especially large breeds)
•Your daily routine and how long she would be left alone.
Thank you for reading — this is an emotional decision and I’m only doing it because I love her and want what’s best for her.
Important note:
Because she is a very large dog, she can sometimes accidentally knock small children over when she’s excited — not aggressively at all, just because she’s big and bouncy. She would never intentionally hurt anyone. She does tend to jump up when meeting new people as she is excitable.
🚫 Please no breeders. She will only go to a loving family home.
