Name: Ralf Age: 3 years  Gender: Male  Breed: Cocker Spaniel  KC Registered: No  Neutered: No  Vaccinations: Annual boosters & kennel cough vaccination up to date  Health: No known health issues or allergies Ralf has a friendly temperament and is great with people of all ages. He can be left alone for a few hours without issue. He travels well in the car and settles calmly when out in cafés etc. He has good recall and will always come back, although occasionally it may be on his own terms, especially if there are squirrels around in the woods. He is a quick learner and knows a range of basic commands and tricks. Ralf currently lives with another older male Spaniel and is comfortable around other dogs, but he has not lived with or spent time around other types of animals. He can be left at home alone for several hours without issue and sleeps through the night. However, when he was younger he did have some FOMO which caused him to be noisy when left, he has had training for this and he is now fine. The noise was solely for FOMO and not anxiety based. We have made the very difficult decision to rehome Ralf because we've found that both of our dogs are happier when they have their own space. Our older Spaniel prefers a quieter lifestyle, while Ralf is affectionate, playful, and loves companionship. We believe he would thrive either as the only dog in the home, where he can enjoy all the attention, or with another dog whose temperament and personality are a better match.
