Description

I privately rescued a 3 year old female cat. When I brought her into my home she was underweight. I was starting to get her to a healthy weight. 2 weeks after she had moved in with me she had a litter of 5 kittens. I have been trying to get them all spayed and vaccinated. I have had Alana their mother spayed. She has had her first vaccine and she is due her second one on the 31/08/2026. I gave her the kitten course of vaccines as she has never had vaccines in her life. This is with the PDSA in Aberdeen City Centre. Alana is an indoor cat. She is friendly and will accept affection on her terms. She is not a lap cat but will sit next to you on the sofa. She eats wet food. She doesn’t like the pate or paste food. I would like her to go to a home where she is the only cat as she does not get along with other cats. She is starting to be annoyed with her kittens. Now for the kittens. Non of them have as yet been vaccinated. Jackson has been Neutered. He has also been microchipped. He is a happy boy. He has paired off with his sister Josephine. Josephine is getting spayed on the 20/8/2026. She will be microchipped then as well. I would love them to be rehomed together. Amy and Elizabeth are both getting spayed and microchipped on the 24/8/2026. They are inseparable. They need to be rehomed together. They are 2 really loving girls. They will sit on your lap and cuddle. Pauline is the last one. She is a very independent girl. She likes to be on her own. She is not really cuddly or a kitten that likes to be picked up. She would be best suited to a home where there are no other animals. I would also suggest adults only. I took in Alana because she desperately needed a good home. I was going to keep her and it was going to be just me and her. I have now also taken in my friends cat in an emergency as he has had to go back to Paoland for a family emergency. 7 cats in a 1 bed flat is too much. They are not getting on and they are all permanently stressed out. I am disabled and struggling to cope with all the fighting between them and it is not fair on them. I am also handler training my Medical alert and physical assistance dog as well. I am disabled. Even though I love the cats and I would love to keep them all it is not fair on them. They are not getting along with each other and I can’t give them the individual attention that they deserve. I want them to have the best lives that they can have. If you take them then you need to make sure that it is for their entire lives. You need to know that you can provide for them. I will not be letting them go to just anyone. I will be asking you questions about yourself and your home. Also the kittens that I have said that need to stay together need to stay together for life. When replying tell me about yourself and your family. If you are renting then I need you to show me that your landlord has said you can have cats. Also if you are renting and you move house then you have to assure me that you will only move to somewhere where cats are allowed. I wouldn’t want them to be rehomed again. Thank you for reading.
