It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we have made the difficult decision to find our beautiful girl, Lilah, the loving forever home she deserves. About Lilah: * Pedigree Show Cocker Spaniel * Date of Birth: 25th May 2025 * Kennel Club Registered * KC Registered Name: Chequerlands Honey Sparkle * We have owned Lilah since she came home with us at 8 weeks old. This decision has been made solely due to our child’s additional health needs and is absolutely no fault of Lilah’s. Finding the right home is our priority, and we will not let her go to just anyone. Lilah’s Training & Personality Lilah is a loving, affectionate and energetic young dog who is always eager to learn. She has picked up her training exceptionally well and enjoys having both mental and physical stimulation. She is: * ✅ Toilet trained * ✅ Crate trained * ✅ Great with other dogs and animals * ✅ Travels well in the car * ✅ Loves the beach and being outdoors * ✅ Professionally groomed on multiple occasions Although bred as a show cocker spaniel, Lilah has shown a real enthusiasm for learning and appears to have the drive and eagerness that would suit further training or even working activities. Commands She Knows * Sit * Wait * Lie Down * Paw * In (Crate) * Speak * Spin Lilah absolutely loves playing outdoors, chasing a ball and spending time with people. She is full of personality and energy and thrives when she has plenty to do. From the day she came home, we introduced crate training, and her crate has always been her safe space. This was especially important for our family due to having a child with ADHD and Autism, ensuring both Lilah and our daughter had a place where boundaries were respected. Sadly, despite all our efforts, our daughter’s additional needs mean she sometimes struggles to recognise Lilah’s need for personal space. As a result, Lilah has occasionally growled when approached unexpectedly whilst resting in her crate or when startled. We completely understand why she has reacted this way and believe she deserves an environment where her boundaries can be respected. The Home We Are Looking For We genuinely believe Lilah would thrive in a home with: * 🐾 Older, dog-savvy children or an adult-only household. * 🌳 Someone who enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle. * 🐶 Another friendly dog for companionship, as she has always lived with one. * 🎾 Someone interested in continuing her training, working activities or simply providing plenty of enrichment and exercise. Lilah is a much-loved member of our family, and this is one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make. We will only consider homes that can offer her the love, time and commitment she deserves.
