These two gorgeous double doodle Bordoodle girls will be ready to go on 11th March.
The white girl with black splashes has been the biggest since birth. She is the first to try anything from toys to new flooring. She loves cuddles and has a really cute way of asking to be picked up. She enjoys playing with her sister, carrying off trophies that she wins such as a chew or rope toy. She would welcome a forever home where she has lots of activities such as walking and, once she is older she would be great accompanying a mountain bike. She was 13oz at birth and will probably grow to 15kg or a bit bigger but not over 20kg.
The black tuxedo girl is the thoughtful one who sits back and lets her sister do the investigations. Once she knows she is safe she knows she will be too. She isn’t scared of much, she just lets her sister do the worrying. She was 12oz at birth and will probably grow to 12 to 15kg. She would love lots of fuss and long walks.
They both love carrying toys around, some as big as they are.
They are very well socialized with my other dogs, children and adults. They come with a helpful new puppy guide which covers some training and helpful checklists. They have used a crate as a rest and play area but will need further training once they are in their forever homes. There is advice in the booklet.
They will go with a toy which smells of home and a bag with plenty of food. Grandma Pollie is an F1 Bordoodle with a miniature poodle dad and a border collie Mum. She was a working Therapy Dog who went with me to care homes, schools and universities to help with clients’ mental health for several years.
Mum Sukie is an F1b Bordoodle with a merle border collie Dad. These babies have a lovely, small miniature poodle for a Dad, specifically picked to create these clever, fluffy bundles of joy. We used Artificial Insemination. Grandma has been involved in helping care for them. They are 5/8 miniature poodle and 3/8 border collie so are lively and love exercise but are great family pets.
Their temperament is enthusiastic but intelligent with the ability to entertain themselves. The litter is only these two lovely girls, and they have benefited from more attention. At 5 weeks old they could sit and shake a paw. They are not really food orientated as they had plenty of mother’s milk available, but they respond most to praise. They may be part mountain goat as their favourite spot is on the back of the sofa!
Mum and Grandma have been extensively genetically tested and are clear of 255 inherited diseases, negative traits, etc. They have been fleaed and wormed and microchipped.
