Description
George is a lovely 5-year-old Hungarian Puli boy who has spent far too much of his life on the streets. Despite his difficult past, he is an incredibly affectionate, intelligent dog who loves people and is now ready for the security of a permanent home.
George is happiest when he is close to his person. He loves affection, enjoys cuddles and would happily settle down and sleep nearby. He already knows some basic commands, walks nicely on the lead and is very food-motivated, which makes him responsive and enjoyable to train.
George is house trained, can be left on his own and doesn't shed much. He would be best suited to a home where he can be the only pet. He cannot live with cats and can be selective with other dogs, particularly larger dogs. His adopter will therefore need to be comfortable managing him sensibly around other dogs when out walking.
George is healthy, vaccinated, microchipped and treated regularly against internal and external parasites.
He is currently in Serbia. Once adopted, George will travel to the UK with our UK-registered pet transport company and will be delivered directly to his adopter's home.
Our adoption process is carried out remotely and includes video calls, an application, ID/address and home checks. Full rescue backup and ongoing support are provided following adoption.
Adoption fee: £675, including transport to the adopter's home. A £150 non-refundable reservation fee is required once an adoption has been agreed and is deducted from the total fee.
