Description
This is Dinx, she is the most wonderful girl! She is well mannered, respectful, kind and calm INSIDE THE HOUSE.
She is well house trained.
She is insanely obedient.
I have a 7 year old daughter, who feeds Dinx and commands her with full obedience. Dinx is as loyal as could be, as gentle as could be and just outright amazing. She LOVES a cuddle!
*** HOWEVER ***
Dinx has faced several attacks whilst on lead walking over the years, and she has built a great fear and anxiety whilst waking. This fear and anxiety shows itself as aggression, she is incredibly strong. She spends her whole walk pulling, and trying to get to every dog, cat, squirrel, leaf or bit of rubbish. Often on her walks, while she has been trying to get to another dog, I have gotten in her way and she has snagged me. She has also had me over several times, and in the road. Our walks are so traumatic for me and my kids, and her.
I am single mum, working full time so I have to walk her in the early morning and after work, with my kids. I cannot control her, and I struggle to walk her, I also cannot afford a dog walker. I have anyone anxiety that even at the thought of walking her, I come in a rash, I am physically sick, I cry. I cry the entire walk, and I usually leave the walk injured from either the pulling, or where she has caught me.
She needs someone who is strong, someone who has a lot of time, and someone who will want to work with her. She has the potential to be simply amazing and in the right home will make a family, or person, so very happy.
She has good recall, when she has trust. But even off lead, with her amazing recall, she isnt safe around other dogs.
She needs to be the only animal in the home.
This is not an easy choice, I love her with all of my heart. But that love, makes me know I am unable to give her what she needs any more.
