Description

💙🐶 ZACH – A CLEVER, CUDDLY BOY READY TO STEAL YOUR HEART! 🐶💙 📍 Located: Burton-upon-Trent DE15 🌟 RBU, post-adoption support & 4 weeks insurance provided upon adoption (on request) 🌟 ❤️ Our wonderful foster volunteer collected Zach from a home where his living conditions had sadly been far from ideal. We cannot thank her enough for stepping forward and giving this lovely boy the safe, comfortable and caring environment he deserves! And what a delightful surprise Zach has turned out to be! 💙 At just 15 months old, this handsome medium-sized, smooth-haired Border Collie is an incredibly affectionate, cuddly and intelligent little gentleman! His foster expected a rather manic young Collie, but instead discovered a sweet, loving boy who adores cuddles and is settling beautifully into his new surroundings. 🥹💙 Zach will be neutered next week and is now AVAILABLE FOR RESERVATION! ✨ Highlights ✨ • SIZE: Medium – approx. 17 kg • NEUTERED: Yes, before going to adoptive home • CHARACTER: Affectionate • Intelligent • Playful • Gentle • Friendly • DOGS: Very friendly; would benefit from a playful canine companion • CATS: Not specifically tested • CHILDREN: Reportedly very friendly, but better suits to older children due to happy enthusiasm • TRAINING: Knows SIT and has already learnt PAW in just a few hours! • HOME LIFE: Loves outdoor space, toys and cuddles; housetraining still needs work 🐾 More About Zach His foster's first update says it all: "As soon as we met Zach, we saw just how affectionate and loving he was. He settled incredibly well! He's actually a small cuddly boy!" Zach absolutely LOVES spending time in the garden, happily playing with his new teddy before coming back inside for another cuddle. 🧸❤️ And his intelligence is already shining through! Within just a few hours of arriving, he learnt a completely new trick — giving his paw on command! He is a bright, eager-to-learn young boy who will thrive with positive training, games and plenty of involvement in family life. Like many young Collies, Zach needs mental stimulation and appropriate exercise. He can be interested in chasing bicycles and scooters for fun, so continued lead training will be important. 🏡 Zach's Ideal Home We would love to find Zach an active, loving family who appreciate his intelligence, affectionate nature and playful personality. A secure garden would be wonderful, as he really enjoys outdoor space. Another friendly, playful dog could be a lovely companion, although this is not essential. Zach would benefit from someone who can continue his housetraining, build his confidence and gradually help him become comfortable spending short periods alone. ❤️ From a home where he was living in difficult conditions to a warm foster home filled with kindness, Zach's life has already changed enormously in just one day. Now we want to make sure his next chapter is the happiest one yet! 🩺 Health Information Zach is vaccinated and microchipped, with no known medical conditions. Neutering is scheduled for next week and will be arranged and covered by rescue. 💙 Zach is safe in foster care and ready to start looking for his forever family. Applications and reservations are now welcome! 💌 If you can offer forever or foster-to-adopt home, please fill out a form: https://forms.gle/vHdDRdjFzXngqzUC9
