Description
It is with a very heavy heart that I am looking to rehome my wonderful 1-year-old Cane Corso due to an upcoming change in my circumstances, as I am expecting a baby and with my partner having a full time very busy job I will parenting majority of the time alone
This decision has not been made lightly. She is an absolutely amazing dog with a loving, loyal nature and has done nothing wrong. Unfortunately, as she is a large, powerful breed who needs a great deal of time, training, and attention, I know that I will struggle to give her everything she deserves while caring for a newborn. I do not want her quality of life to suffer in any way.
She is highly protective and naturally alert, making her an excellent guard dog. She forms very strong bonds with her family and is incredibly devoted. She is not vicious in any way, but she can sometimes be reactive with other dogs if she feels threatened, so she would be best suited to a confident, experienced owner who understands the breed and can continue her training and socialisation.
She is fairly nervous at times and thrives in a calm, structured environment where she feels safe and secure. With patience, consistency, and love, she has so much potential and will make an incredibly rewarding companion.
I am looking for a responsible, knowledgeable home—ideally with experience of large or guardian breeds—who can offer her the stability, time, and lifelong commitment she deserves. This decision has been made purely out of love for her wellbeing and not for any other reason.
Her happiness and safety are my absolute priority, and I will be taking great care in choosing the right home for her.
