Description
We are looking to find a good home for our 18-month-old male English American Bulldog. We are having to rehome him due to having a newborn with dog allergies. It will be a sad day to see him go, but our priority is making sure he goes to a great home.
He is an incredibly friendly and playful dog with a lot of love to give. He has an excellent temperament and is very well-behaved in the house. He already knows several commands, including sit, wait, down, heel, and drop. He is also non-reactive (although he will bark at the door bell). He is also great with his food, you could reach right into his bowl while he is eating and he wouldn't mind at all.
At the end of the day, his absolute favourite thing is settling down for a cuddle on the sofa in the evenings.Because he loves to play and has plenty of energy, he needs space to run around, so he would be best suited to a place with a good-sized garden.
He is also good around children and loves playing with them, but because of his size, he can be a bit boisterous and might accidentally knock a small child over, so supervision would be best in that scenario. He is also good with other dogs but can get overexcited at times during play, so if he is going to a home with another dog, it would be best if they were around his own size.
He is in good health for his breed. As you can see in the photos, he has a longer snout than a standard English Bulldog, which means he doesn't have any breathing issues.
He hasn't been neutered, and with his good health and structure, he would make a brilliant stud dog for someone looking to breed English Bulldogs and bring them back to when they had longer snouts.
