Description
We rescued Cyril from the Blue Cross at 8 weeks old in May, and he is a fantastic, loving little pup who has made a great addition to our home.
Sadly, as I am a single parent to a two-year-old and we live on the third floor, the logistics of looking after Cyril are too difficult for me alone. My daughter loves Cyril and he has been a great companion to us both. I have been contemplating this for some time and it is a very hard decision, as I would love for him and my daughter to grow up together. Unfortunately, I simply cannot give Cyril the outdoor lifestyle and attention he deserves while juggling everything on my own.
Temperament & Training:
• Wonderful with Kids: He is exceptionally sociable with children and adults. He shares a beautiful bond with my 2-year-old daughter.
• Fully House-Trained: He is completely house-trained and reliable inside the flat.
• Puppy Training Completed: He knows his basic commands and has great manners.
• Walks & Recall: He is great on the lead and has good recall, though he sometimes gets distracted because he just wants to say hello to other dogs!
• Quiet & Chilled: He hardly ever barks (only when the hoover comes out!). While he loves to play with puzzle toys and tug-of-war, he is incredibly relaxed and will happily snooze at your feet or cuddle on the sofa.
Appearance & Breed:
The Blue Cross registered him as a Jack Russell, and he has that classic, busy Jack Russell walk. However, he has a unique, beautiful smooth tan coat and a slightly longer shape than usual, which is why I have listed him as a mixed breed. He is a handsome little chap, and people constantly stop us on the street to compliment him!
Health & Veterinary History:
• Vaccinations: Fully up to date.
• Flea & Worming: Completely up to date.
• Neutered: Not yet. Vets advised waiting until between 6 and 9 months; he is now 7 months old, so his new owner can arrange this when ready.
• Microchipped: Yes (legal details will be transferred upon collection).
• Insurance Bonus: He is currently insured with Petplan, and I am happy to transfer this directly to the new owner so he has continuous, uninterrupted coverage.
Cyril would make a fantastic family pet but would be equally happy in an adult-only home. He will leave with his current food, favourite toys, and his blanket to help him settle.
Price: £500
